Fiberglass Domes

PART 1  GENERAL

1.1  SCOPE

1. Provide Fiberglass Dome Cover and all accessories as specified herein and on the contract drawings.

1.2  RELATED SECTIONS

1. Responsible for all related Sections found in Divisions 1 - 16.

1.3  SUBMITTALS

1. A submittal shall be provided to the engineer and approved prior to fabrication.  Submittal for approval includes:
    
1. Submittal drawings to show size, location, and spacing of all parts, accessories, structural members, openings, each connection type and fastener.
2. Material List.
3. Installation Instructions.
4. Operation & Maintenance Manual.
5. Structural Calculations.


2. All Structural Calculations shall be sealed by a Professional Engineer.

1.4  QUALITY ASSURANCE

1. The manufacturer shall have five years experience on similar projects.
    
2. Manufacturer and Contractor to coordinate installation to provide a successful install.
    
3. Contractor required to use skilled workmen familiar with this type of erection.

1.5  WARRANTY

1. The cover system shall be guaranteed for a period of one year against defective material and fabrication.
